About Chris

Chris Bodary is a fine artist based in Chester County, Pennsylvania. His artistic approach is a blend of technical skill, intuition, and empathy for his subjects. Chris aims to capture not just the likeness but also the mood of his subjects, to create a strong composition that you don't want to look away from.​​Family is at the heart of Chris’s world.  He and his wife were married in 2016, and the family grew to three kids, a dog, and a cat. Juggling the many hats of parent, professional, and artist is a challenging yet deeply rewarding adventure. For Chris, being a dad isn’t just a role—it’s a core part of who he is  and is a constant source of inspiration for his artwork.​Before pursuing art, running played a significant role in Chris’s life. He competed in Track and Field and Cross Country for the University of Tennessee, earning honors such as All-SEC Conference and All-South Region titles. Although he now channels his energy into his artistic pursuits, the discipline and drive from his athletic days continue to guide his journey as an artist.
